Maddie thought the whole institution of bathingsuits was unfair. Why did girls swimsuits have to be so uncomfortable? And why did the ones available have to be so ridiculous? Merlin knew the frills and bows and polka dots weren't just for fashion and really, Maddie wasn't one to dress to please others. Thankfully the brunette had found the type of suit fitting for her ferocious inner self and one that would earn her respect even though she was dressed in much less than she was comfortable with. Mess with the tiger at your own risk. GRRRRR!

ANYWAY...

The first year made her way to the Irie Room, sunglasses blocking her brown eyes and hat concealing her plaited hair. The promise of warmth was enough to elicit a smile and the twelve year old paused at the door to adjust her shirt and read the party rules. LULZ. A BIKINI? Yeah, no worries about THAT. NOT that she thought it was fair boys could wear what THEY wanted but girls had to be RESTRICTED. It wasn't THEIR fault that boys were GROSS humans. Well, MOST. Dima and Kyroh didn't count, obviously. She'd decided MO wasn't one of the gross TOO. As for the OTHERS, she was still making up her mind. STILL, she wasn't a FAN of the rule even if she THOUGHT bikinis were ridiculous inventions.

Entering the PARTY, the Ravenclaw pulled her shades down JUST enough to scan the place, kicking the door shut behind her as she did a sweep of the room. Maddie was SURE this wouldn't be her LAST invite only. People on their way to ruling the world were BOUND to attend TONS of these things. She didn't see any of HER people yet, though. That was a PITY.
