At first Lex had been appalled to learn the doors to the Irie Room would be closed--where else was she to get warmth? Hmmmmm? But then it all got explained and it didn't seem so bad anymore. A party! One the Professor just needed to set up for. It made enough sense and even if it didn't, there was NO WAY the Gryffindor was giving up on the warm weather. What made it cooler was her being asked to be a bouncer. There was a first! Where was her partner?

Anyyyway. Lex had arrived long before everyone else and opted to stay on the inside of the room as opposed to the outside where there was no sun, sand and drinks. If people got in that weren't meant to, she'd stop them. For now, just chilling in her beach chair by the entrance, sunglasses on, drink in hand and the heat melting through to her bone. Sweet Merlin she missed this.

The first signs of ~~life~~ others came when Zander let himself in. A brief look at her checklist proved he was invited yup. "Hey Zander. Don't you just LOVE the sun?" She asked, sitting back and taking in the rays. The Professor was too kind. Bless her soul. Oh and look, Ethan made it too. Quick list check aaand he was allowed to stay too. "Sup Ethan?" Did he feel the brilliance that was the sun too? Aaahhhh.

Couple minutes later she spotted Jasmine, that Lucy girl from her house and Leah. Was she gonna have to keep checking the list? This was getting tedious. But they were there and she gave them all waves and a 'HEYYYY'. Party vibe. D'you feel it? It must be the warmth. Something wasn't right though. After seeing Adi, then Angel walk in and greeted with a 'come on in guys', she spotted Kevin and she didn't need a list to tell her he wasn't invited. "Hold it right there." She said, casting a silent leg locker jinx to keep him there. "You too." Meaning his little friend (Noel), or did she have to jinx him too. With a heavy sigh she heaved herself into a sitting position on her beach chair again. "Alright, start explaining." Make it convincing and you can stay. Ahem. ~~Just don't tell Bellaire~~.

She was momentarily distracted by Grayson--but not enough to let them go. "Grayson! Do you FEEL this? Dude! Frostbite free for an afternoon!"
