"Isa will control and quiet emotional distress, but be careful, it will not eliminate any persistent root cause of unpleasant circumstance. But it can help in extending stillness into your aura." His eyes met Odessa since he mentioned something like that.
"Now. Runes can be assets that we could use in addition to the usual magic spells in order to enhance them. Can you think of one spell that we can use with Isa? In any way possible?" That was their next question. Come on, kids, think outside the box. [/indent]

He only half-listened to the information about Isa, given it was really just refreshing things he knew already, And... now to name a spell. Well... He put his hand up.
"What about disillusionment charms? Isa is good for stealth and illusion too, when it lies in opposition to other runes." Not merkstave exactly, given it couldn't be reversed... And...
"If you had it engraved on your wand, professor, wouldn't it technically help you with casting any spell to some degree? Not necessarily the efficacy of the spell but more like... your focus and clarity in a way because it might help calm you if you tend to get nervous or worked up about not getting your spells right on the first go, and help you be patient with yourself as well." Which... lead to another sort of abstract thought of sorts. Relating to wands... and the fact that they were.... sort Isa shaped. West mused on this a bit but kept his thoughts on that matter to himself.
