I fell out of the British League when I lived in Australia and when I moved back and joined the Quidditch team at the ministry, I’ve just had to deal with all of them, so I haven’t really found a favorite and all of my old favorites have retired.”
Like Xavier, he was now the owner of a team. Merlin when did she get so old.
She smiled sweetly at the man, Oh MLE well that made sense to why he was looking around. “Very nice to meet you as well Mr. Chosen. Thank you for being here to work today, we really do appreciate the security. I do hope you are trying to have some fun too though.” She’d hate to think they were all just working and bored or hating the day.
Really? Was she really that good? Legend blinked. Sure she put the ball in the hoops from time to time. Okay most games but...so did all the other chasers on ALLLL the other teams in ALLL the other games. What made someone better than anyone else? It was Legend's biggest pet peeve about the sport. Anyone could play. He was sure of it. He DID keep his smile though because Victoria was willing to keep his secret and that made her awesome by his standard.
Ooooh she lived in Australia? "That's a place on my list on places to visit! Did you get stung by like 700 Billywigs?" Cause if so...he'd be rethinking his list. "Who's you're least favourite then?" She HAD to have one of those right? "And what makes someone at least favourite?" Were those the show-offy ones? The ones who did 700 unneeded flips in one game?
Oh uh. She was thanking him? A light blush spread across his face. "I'm just doing my job, really. No need to thank me." Uh. Way to make him feel bad about com paining 2.5 seconds ago Victoria. "And trying. Yup!" At least he WAS trying. That's exactly why he was by the food!
