Always, huh? Benjy grinned at her. "Any in particular you'd suggest?" Despite his Gryffindor tendencies, Benjy didn't actually know many of them on a personal basis - which was poor on his account, really. His final year at Hgowarts, and still he barely knew anyone outside his own house. And it wasn't necessarily for lack of trying, although in some cases it totally was, just some groups weren't all that open to newcomers, and Benjy wasn't one for idle chatter. "You can be as selfish as you like," Benjy replied with a grin. "I've neglected our friendship recently...it's the least I can do." And he'd done plenty of studying. Way too much studying. "So...gonna share what you've got in mind, or just let me come along for the ride?" ...possibly head first down all the staircases. Hehe.

As for decking someone, Benjy raised an eyebrow and laughed. "You think I wouldn't? Clearly I'm too soft around you." Once upon a time he'd had a reputation for getting into fights, especially when it came to both protecting and challenging Garrick. Obviously old age had taken it's toll.

He chuckled some more, as she both got his gist and turned it back on him. "I didn't really need that visual," he said with a shake of the head, "but thanks all the same." He watched quietly a moment, as the copy of his red board become blue. It still struck him as slightly ironic, given their houses. And she would feed him? "That's more like it," he replied, grinning with a hint of smirk. "And I'm practically living in the library at the moment, so no need to go to the common room." Though thinking about it, he hadn't seen Lex in the library recently - so maybe that was just as impractical? "But if you're bringing me food, I'll make myself readily available to eat it." It'd be a waste for her not to be able to find him.

He didn't need to be told to follow, and he kicked his board gently behind Lex. "Sounds good." It was funny, almost cute, actually, that Lex was taking charge when there was skateboarding involved. But here they were, and Benjy was having fun for the first time in ages. "Guess it'd just be nice to know what a proper relationship is like. I mean, I'm pretty much the only seventh year guy that's never been in one..." And thanks to Vesper, it didn't look like it was gonna happen before he left school.
