Why had no one ever told him how much a breaking heart hurt? It was a though an invisible fist had driven a hole right through his chest and was crushing his heart into tiny little pieces. How many times had they laughed at other couples and their problems and said that would never happen to them? And now he was standing here feeling as though his whole world was falling apart.

Michael loosened his hold on her a little, because even though they were making plans to hideout together, they both knew that deep down it wasn't going to happen and so he readied himself for that inevitable separation.

"Definitely muffins." He agreed. "And cauldron cakes." Because he really liked those. Michael brushed his hand down her back. "Zahra...?"
