Now Benny was curious. Culloden wanted to see him for something? "Um...okay," he said, absently moving to sit off the arm of one of the chairs around the fire as the man seemed to freak out about a beast. The third year looked behind him towards the dorms only to see Alexa with her kneazle. The potions master obviously wasn't a cat person it seemed.
Then Zander arrived and there was this banter between him and the professor...something about a bed. Benjamin wasn't exactly sure what to make of the conversation, nor of the vial that had his name on it for some reason. The boy slipping down to sit in the chair properly as he continued to wait for the others and now an explaination.
It seemed both Lex and Zander were among those they were waiting for as Culloden didn't want the prefect to leave despite his hatred for her familiar. And the man had switched from apparently trying to steal his dormmate's bed to get down to business as he mentioned. Ben was relieved the mystery was finally going to be explained though as the potions master spoke again for all of them he was even more confused. Well maybe more surprised at first and then settling on confused.
The vials were of potions he had brewed for them...as gifts?!
For being top students?!
"Really?" he asked incredulously. Lex beat him to the questions about what they were and what they did. Benny certainly wasn't going to just take it unknown, he'd already had one crazy mix-up this term.
