"Hmmmm...do I...?" Lex asked, feigning contemplation as her foot stopped the approaching board. It would have been an interesting sight to see, if only until she broke something and ended up spending a perfectly free and dull day with the Healer. "Reckon I do actually but I'm already confined enough, don't need to make it worse for myself." Lex had been learning a few things with skateboards but she was nothing like Benjy or her cousin Dax. A trip down a flight of stairs ending with a jump was how you got killed before you saw the end of winter and could be allowed out into the world again.

"You, though, could show me better I'm sure, if you tried." Just saying. She might have been egging him on to do a stunt or two. He always seemed happy when he did those and that half hearted descent was telling of something else.

Lex kicked the board back to him. "Unless you've lost it all in this storm. Tricks, motivation, your friendship with gravity..." She rattled on, watching the board roll back to him.
