Which really made no sense because there was a clear canon timeline for who was to become the captains and not once had there been an Airey Flamsteed mentioned there or anywhere within any crew on any ship. Alas. Childhood dream crushed. "Once I was old enough to accept that that dream was just a tad beyond my reach, I turned to the next best thing - an astronaut."

And how many people could say that becoming an astronaut was their back up plan? Hmm?

He nodded. "Definitely a good idea," he agreed. Standing in the very location would help confirm that it was the place for her. Miss Wisteria was driven and knew what she wanted, so he had no doubts that she wouldn't be successful wherever she ended up...but he had opinions on where he thought would be best. "I believe so, yes." See? Strong opinion.

He took another long sip from his tea before speaking again. "Not sure how she manages it myself," he said with a small shrug. He was fairly positive he wouldn't have been able to do it himself, extra distraction and all. He was good at keeping himself distracted with no outside help. "But as long as my students, current and former, continue to grow and are passionate about what they do, I can't complain." And there was an added grin there, just for you Miss Wisteria.

NEW YORK?! Did that mean she went to Broadway?! Surely she must have. It was THE thing to do in New York, you know? "Really? Something for me from New York?" A something she had maaaaaaaaaaaaaaade? Would it be terribly unprofessional if he went all grabby hands towards...whatever it was?

HOW ADORABLE WAS THAT?! Merlin, just imagine a 4 y-o Airey running around and telling everyone he was going to captain a starship! Not just any starship, by the way, the USS Enterprise. It was all very cute, and suddenly the models and everything made sense. It hadn't before, until now. "Must have been quite a sight." And the sixth year couldn't help but laugh. If only she had stories like that to tell about her brother...

...anyway, "It was the most logical choice." An astronaut. Yet again, we're being selfish enough to consider his crushed dreams a blessing for Hogwartians.

Best idea ever, truth be told. It was another country, she couldn't just make a decision like this one without even seeing what the place was like. Traveling was one thing, but education that will keep her occupied for a couple of years was another. "Of course." A good idea, indeed. And she would do the same with the universities nearby as well, this wasn't just because California was too far away, okay? There. Stanford was the best, according to him. And no one knew better than him. Sooooo...., "I'll keep that in mind," she replied, with a smile.

Precisely. That was Lotus' point all along (as of a few minutes), how could you possibly focus when you had more pressing responsibilities, hmmmm? Not her problem, anyway. She merely nodded and drank more tea. There was probably another comment in her mind but she just noticed they were talking about Alice and NO. No more. He kept on talking, though, and she beamed at that, "Well, I'm definitely passionate." Just ask her boyfriend. Or not, never mind. Kidding. Passionate about the sky and stars, yeah, of course.

Yup, NEW YORK CITY! And, yes, Broadway, too. "Why, of course! I attended an Illustration course and we had this project of our choosing... so I chose to do something... Astronomy related. For you." Yes, this was a present, she had a duplicate back home and plenty of other projects, so he could definitely keep this one. It was, after all, made for him. With a smile, she set her cup down and handed the rolled-up parchment to him. He could go ahead and remove the silver ribbon and keep the illustration forever.

Your gift from the States, Mr. Flamsteed.
