His gaze went back to Zahra and he couldn't help it, he burst out laughing. "And when have you smelled a rotting merperson carcass?" Michael moved away from the window and raised his eyebrows at her. It wouldn't surprise him if she had actually smelled a rotting merperson.

"Well I'm not sure I would go that far." But he'd love it if summer came back sometime soon. He shoved his hands in his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels. "Remember when we used to camp out in your backyard?"
