Tricksy Hobbitses

Since the crowd at the stand was clearing up, Langen allowed herself to stare off into space and think. And the number one thing that crossed her mind was her stupid sister. Why had she gotten the tattoo? Mom wouldn't like it and Langen hated them! Was it just to be a brat and do the opposite of what everyone told her her to? Because she was the youngest. Which meant she had to listen! Uggh, the chestnut haired girl could still remember the argument after Cersie had come home and showed her older sister the ink on her arm. It all ended with the younger girl storming off to her room claiming that Langen didn't "understand" her. She was a year older and read psych textbooks for fun during her teenage years. Ugh, yeah, she understood the whole rebellios phase thing. And it was stupid. Shouldn't that have been taken care of like five years ago? Not when you had responsiblities and such?

Whatever, the brown eyed girl wasn't going to let the ink on her sisters arm ruin the event. The tall girl had downed three cups of coffee as preperation for the event and it was a nice day out. Everyone seemed happy and the mascot dance off or whatever they were doing at the moment was actually quite funny and entertaining. Besides the poor crying baby. And the fact that it was all happening in front of their stand meant that it was like free advertising. Which was always good. So far the event seemed to be a success. Score one point for magical games and sports. Hahah, cute pun. And it was totally intended.

Even another ministry worker had complimented their event. which was awesome. Hopefully Marial and Victoria were happy with it. It wasn't like these events fell out of trees ya know, it took a lot of work to actually plan this whole thing. Which was why they needed some recognition of some sort. Something to show how awesome they were for doing all of this. Maybe some coffee and some cake from her ex-boyfriend's shop? She could get it here in like four minutes flat.

Langen wondered if any of her Hogwarts friends ended up as mascots. They always joked that one would because he was none to bright to find another job, and someone in her group actually wanted that as a job. Mascot to a quidditch team. Although, it might not have been all bad, consdiering you were near the team all day and got to do stuff with them. But still. Weird career choice. Of course, it wasn't like the chestnut haired girl hadn't had some too. At one point she wanted to be a professional sock knitter. But then she turned eighteen and mother got sick and she became responsible. Really responsible. Something her dear sister wasn't. Sighing to herself, she smiled at Victoria to assure her that everything was fine and continued to watch the mascots. They were funny little things, were they not?
Quote:
Edward Penguin

Edward walked into the area for the Quidditch meet and greet. He'd been trying to follow the Quidditch World Cup as best he could, but he hadn't been able to make it to Patagonia. He figured this was the next best thing.

He walked into the souvenirs area and was hoping to pick up a little something for the next match. He was surprised to see 3 mascots doing whatever it is mascots do. They all appeared to be frightening a baby child. He shook his head and walked toward the table with the items. He saw the sign up for door prizes and decided to give it a go.

He filled out a sheet of paper with his name and contact information and dropped it in the box
That is until she saw a man walking over with some items. Time to put on customer service face. That was something her muggle aunt taught her. Basically, it's smiling really wide so you look like you reeeeeaaaalllly want to help the people that you're assisiting, even if you dont. So that smile. Yeah, break out that smile.

"Hello sir, are you in need of some assistance?" Yeah, good employee, she was. Helping people and stuff. That coffee must've really helped, because the girl felt on top of everything. That, or the good night's sleep she had been sure to get. Those were always helpful.
