“I think he did.” She chuckled as her song said a new word. “yes, baby. Your baby. Can you say Sissy?” Not that he had to call her that, she remembered Jacob sayng sissy for the longest time. The memory brought back some emotions and she quickly pushed them out of her mind and focused back on her little family.
A routine? Good one sweetheart, she laughed, “We will be on her routine just as Gunnar trained us on his for awhile.” Though Gunnar was a good baby she just hoped Chloe would be too. She remembered Ariana saying about Xaria screaming all the time, but the ex friend didn’t seem to want her help, so she didn’t bother any further with it. “No they probably didn’t mind it at all and he probably didn’t either. He loves them so much.” She was feeling lucky to be so close to her in laws and to have them see Gunnar almost on a daily basis. Family was so important to her, so this just made things so much better.
“Aww bedtime.” She smiled at her son, “Since you haven’t seen mommy in a few days why don’t’ you let Daddy give you a bath and then Mommy and you can have cuddle time right here.” She glanced at Ethan, she knew they had just kind of transitioned him into his own room and he needed to be there now with Chloe here, but one night wouldn’t hurt would it? She had a hard time being away from him, she hadn’t been that long away since he was born. “That was very nice of them and I do appreciate it from you and them.” She leaned carefully, but cringed a bit in pain. Moving still she kissed him lightly, “ I love you.” She knew they could face any adjustment since they had each other to lean on.
