Cosgrach was speechless for a moment. He didn't know why, because when Sophie'd told him Mrs. Lafay was her grandmother, it sounded as if it was a pretty casual thing. This... didn't sound casual at all. He'd felt only a little bit of pressure then, but now it felt like Mo'd been judging him all along. He blinked, shook his head and chuckled softly as if he'd been thinking something else. If Mo bothered to do his homework and come to classes, then it meant he liked the way Cosgrach taught the course?

"I hope I am teaching as well as your father," he said with a smile, and tried to shake that feeling off. "So I'd like that too, working on an article together." And Cosgrach wasn't even going to admit he didn't know there was a photography major in universities. "I hope you are accepted and do the best for yourself."
