Now that Sophie knew who she was sending her card to, she needed to actually make the card. She'd brought a few pieces of parchment and some color-changing quills with her, so she'd use those to make the card. She picked up a dark red quill and tapped it silently against the parchment as she thought about what she wanted it to say. She just wasn't the mushy type, even if it was just a friendly-type mushiness.
Finally, she grinned, as she knew just what to say. She knew Culloden would appreciate her humor. She kept it short and sweet, because that's usually what cards were like. When she was done with the letter, she switched to a different colored quill and began drawing a speech bubble, so it would seem like she was the one saying the words on the card. She did this a few more times with different colored quills, until she had four speech bubbles.
Lastly, she switched to a plain, black quill and wrote words to describe Culloden on the speech bubbles. With that done, she was finished with her
card. All that was left to do now was deliver it, so Sophie quickly collected her things then left the common room.
