As Mommy gave him a kiss, Gunnar kept his blue eyes on his baby as she was moved a little closer. He knew how to do nice touches, like Mommy showed him how to do with Elise and Whiskers, even if he sometimes liked to pull tails and grab handfuls of fur. It was just too tempting.

He looked at Daddy's hand on the baby and tentatively reached out a hand, making the same touch. His eyes grew wider as the she stirred a bit and he reached back for Daddy, glancing at the baby as he was now being held. He looked at Mommy as she asked him if he liked.. something? The baby? He looked at her again curiously. Mhmm, he thought he liked her, but he was interested in what she would do. "Be be," he babbled quietly, still watching from Daddy's arms.

Ethan watched Gunnar, making sure he was being gentle with his new baby sister. He seemed curious enough, maybe not completely sure what to make of her yet, though he was certain that the boy couldn't completely grasp what it meant to have a sister. It seemed to be going well so far though and he chuckled a bit as Gunnar clung to him again. "Did he say baby?" he glanced up at Min. "It kind of sounded like it. Yep, that's your baby sister, Gunnar. That's Chloe."

"I'm sure they didn't mind watching Gunnar at all," he said, giving his son a kiss on the head. They certainly seemed the stereotypical spoiling grandparents at times. He was sure they couldn't get enough of Gunnar, even if he tried to make sure they didn't take advantage. "Oh we could do that," he nodded as she mentioned dinner. "Once we get into some sort of routine, maybe." Right now he was sure they'd have their hands full too much for them to plan stuff like that, but it would be nice to do soon enough.. or whatever she was up for.

Gunnar was starting to get fidgety on his lap so he set him down on the floor. "Just about bedtime for you, buddy." He watched him toddle off to grab a nearby ball and he glanced back up at Min. "Yeah, I'm glad they were able to move up my time off with her coming early. But they were really understanding and I know you're going to need some help. Well, we're all going to need some adjusting," he smiled. Adjusting in a good way of course. And he would only get paid for a week of it still being relatively new, but he figured enough of their finances that they could manage.
