It was inflating!

IT. HAD. WORKED!

YEEEEEEEEEEEES!

A very smug Grayson watched as his balloon got bigger and bigger. It was a little slow, much slower than how Flamsteed had blown up his balloon, but it was getting there. At a snail's pace. No big deal and whatnot. And this time, instead of being rational and slightly pessimistic, he was looking on the bright side.

Weird or what?

Once the balloon had finally reached the size of a large watermelon, the fourth year said, "Finite!" Done. Uh huh. With one hand still holding onto the end of the balloon, Grayson slid his wand out and clasped the end of the balloon shut with his left hand. He stuffed his wand back into his robes before using his right hand to help tie a knot around the end of the balloon. Didn't want aiir escaping, did he?

The Slytherin then headed up towards the front of the classroom to get the weird looking instrument that was going to help them predict the weather. He wanted one that was optimistic. One that said that it was going to be sunny outside. Alas, he didn't know which one would do that sooooo Grayson picked out any random one and headed overr to his desk. Now he had to attach the balloon to this?? How exactly was he meant to--

String? Was that what some other people were doing? Tying it up with the string?

Okay. That was what he was going to do, then. Tying the end of the balloon to the string.

This level of trust was dangerous.
