Did they look familiar? They were the ones he'd given her on Valentine's Day. Still in full bloom, thanks to magical aid. Pretty, pretty flowers. "I figured we could duplicate them." And even as she was saying so, she was looking for the perfect spot to put them.
"My cousin taught me how to fold up pretty little paper birds and charm them to fly and sing." So, obviously they should have some singing birds, too.
Mo left the flowers to Cat as he stepped back from the carefully placed twigs and pointed his wand at the first one. He trusted her to make things lovely, and he had a sort of complicated spell to complete. He'd read up on this one, but hadn't practiced it in truth, so when he pointed his wand at the first stick, it took quite a lot of concentration to make one hunchbacked-looking tree. Not bad for a first try, but he wouldn't be hanging a hammock from it.
"I know those flowers," he cast a glance at her lilies before returning to his spellwork. "I didn't know you kept those, Cupcake. Nostalgic of you." He moved on to the next tree, focusing on growing the trunk without any roots to disrupt the floor. Just a solid, wide trunk that could hold up a hammock. He did a little victory dance when it worked.
"Which cousin?" She had a million.
