Jun will just leave Charmander with Pal from now on. He watched the prefect as he patted the blanket and chuckled. "Warm enough for your bum?"
"Today, Bolton, I made us spaghetti and meatballs, some burgers, cookies, and my famous bacon grilled cheese," Because everyone he's made them for loved them. They were just that good. And Jun was beginning to pride himself on those. "I also have butterbeer and juice boxes for us," The two were like little children when it came to juice boxes. They always needed plenty of them. "What did you bring?"
“Cats… yes!” Lou failed to register the hint of sarcasm in Jun’s tone, but it couldn’t be helped. He LOVED cats. Obviously. He was ‘CatBoy’, after all. At Jun’s following question, the Gryffindor chuckled. “It does feel rather toasty now.” He set the platter with cupcakes down on the blanket and proceeded to pull off his backpack, which had been enchanted to fit all the other blankets and colourful pillows he’d brought along. And Chompy. Couldn’t forget Chompy. The pet turtle had its little head peeking out from one of the pockets, and looked annoyed as its owner proceeded to pull him out from the cozy spot.
Louis grabbed one of the pillows and placed it under his bum. “
Much better.” Cozy as the blanket was, there was no denying the stone floor beneath it. The boy tossed another pillow at Jun and pulled out his blanket - which totally didn’t have a pattern of animated kitten heads on it, nope - placing it over his back and Jun’s, so both boys were covered beneath its warmth.
As Jun began to list the food he’d made for them, Lou’s eyes widened large enough to take up half of his face. “What, do we have guests?” That wasn’t a picnic, it was a buffet! But… he wasn’t about to complain. PFT. The more food the better. “Famous bacon grilled cheese?” Louis raised an eyebrow, a crooked smirk on his face. “I have to try that.”
As for him.
“These,” Lou pushed the tray that held about a dozen frosted cupcakes over to Jun’s side of the blanket, “And Ladurée macarons. The finest.” With a smile, the boy pulled out a pastel-green rectangular box, removing the top to reveal two long rows of macarons, each a different colour. There were thirty total. “Gift from my grandmother, they just came in this morning.” The woman was well-aware of her grandson’s sweet tooth, and never missed an opportunity to send him an owl carrying all sorts of sugary treats, despite his mother’s disapproval.
