Go-Kart Race
What's that interrupting some of the castles beloved stairways? Are those the sound of engines roaring? Why, is that a GO-KART TRACK?! Oh, yes, it is! The track created by your Prefects has surrounded the Hogwarts staircases, floor by floor, and top to bottom and back to top again. Beginning up on the seventh floor, a bright banner confirms that you have indeed arrived at the grand “Go-Kart Race” of 2084.
The start line has a bunch of strategically placed karts for you to jump in and ZOOOOOOM off in, so long as you buckle yourself in and don't turn into a maniac behind the wheel. The karts are all identical in their features, some have a little more leg room for students on the lanky side, and some with less for those on the shorter side. (Equally accommodating, aren't we?) You have ONE lap to overtake your fellow students in this need for speed.
Alas, if you thought this would be a simple ride, you can go elsewhere: the track has a handful of obstacles in your way. Will your wheels get stuck in one of the sticking spells in your way? However will you get out? How about that puddle on the fifth floor? How deep do you think that is? And how about the fake finish line on your way back up to the seventh floor that disappears JUST as you cross the line? The screaming group of fans on the second floor could be as much an ego boost as it is could distract you!
Will the black and white checkered flag confirm YOUR cross over the finish line? Quote:

- Race to your hearts content and have fun! They may equally enjoy removing your wheels and putting you out of the race also.
