Hayden was a first year, but what would Maddie have done if she wasn't? You shouldn't just assume years, because some people could get offended. Though in this case the guess had been right. It wasn't that hard to guess, given Hayden's height and probably young look overall. "Yes I am, are you a first year too?" Maddie looked fairly young, no older than second year for sure. Though she was taller than Hayden, but that wasn't much of an accomplishment. "I'm a Hufflepuff, what house are you?" Last chance to guess and her guess was...Slytherin?
