Zander could almost feel annoyance slipping out of the man's gritted teeth. Oh no. The man taught Astronomy. They were learning Astrology signs. He may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but he sure knew that Flamsteed would not be happy about this. Uh oh. "Well we were supposed to share some sort of cheer or something..." he spokes slowly, trying to pick out his words extra carefully.

But there was no way he could avoid it. He had already slipped out the 'matching' word. Okay, deep breath then all at once. "Well we learned about our astrology signs and our sun house and mars house and we had to find the signs that we were compatible with and--" DEEP BREATH "I'm a capricorn, but my sun house is Sagittarius and that's supposed to mean that I have a deep emotional connection to Sagittariuses or something and anyways we had to make a card for someone we were compatible with and her list said that you-- ANOTHER HUGE INHALE "are a Sagittariususes-y?" Did that even make sense?

"So I had to make the card for you because we matched." Wait, did that make it sound like he didn't want to make the card for him? Which, he didn't. But Flamsteed wasn't supposed to know that. "I mean, I probably would've chosen you anyways, Professor!" Lie. It was supposed to be Bentley. Ahem. Can't believe Kevin got Bentley and he didn't. Hpmh. But he's not bitter or anything. Not at all. Heh.

"But if you ask me all that Astrology stuff is baloney and Astronomy is WAY better." Yeah. Nice save. Hopefully. He didn't even believe in that stuff. First off, his sun house had nothing to do with his actual personality so that was way off. AND, it had said that he wasn't compatible with Bentley, which is also WRONG. So yes.

The Astronomy is better part though, that was a lie. He didn't really care for either subject to be completely honest. He was more of a creatures man himself. But anything for the sake of not getting on his bad side. He already had Culloden against him, didn't need another one, you know?
