What a wonderful idea! he thought to himself. And then, the idea of the moose reminded him of a silly song he'd heard in an american movie about vacations. How did that go again? As it came to him, he began to practice his counterclockwise movements as he sang the song (loud enough for AJ to hear)
Who's the moosiest moose we know?
Marty Moose!
Who's the star of our favorite show?
Marty Moose!
M is for Merry - we're merry, you see;
O is for Oh gosh, Oh golly, Oh gee;
S is for Super Swell family glee;
E is for Everything you want to be.
M - A - R - T - Y;
M - O - O - S - E.
What's that spell?
Marty Moose!
Marty Moose!
Marty Moose!
(Hyuk! That's me!)
He grinned widely at AJ as he finished the song.
How's that for you? Moosey enough? Ian was okay, and that was a good thing. She wouldn't have known what to do if all the moose business was because of something wrong that was going on with him. Other than laugh that is.
Man, Ian was in a good mood. His spirits rubbed off on her, and she couldn't wipe the goofy grin off her face. That was how you did work! Maybe AJ should use his tactic next time instead of threatening the tree. If Bentley had heard... she was already on the brink of crying. The Gryffindor didn't do well with crying.
Suddenly Ian busted out with a song. How did he know one about a moose? He even knew the lyrics well. More laughing ensued.
"Good one," was all she managed to get out between fits of laughter. AJ was easily amused, and the whole moose thing was pretty epic in her mind.
"Makes me think of the mickey mouse song."
They could leave already? Was she ready to go? For the first time ever AJ wasn't ready to walk out of class at the first chance. Ian had her cracking up, and she managed to to get the tree spell thing to work. It was a good day... minus the cold of course.
