Jasmine knew that concentration was very important in getting this spell to work correctly. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, hoping to focus her mind on the task at hand. Jasmine visualized Charlie shrinking to a miniature size, just like Professor Bentley had demonstrated. When she had the picture locked in her mind, she raised her wand.

"Parveus Minori Minimus", Jasmine said while moving her wand in three anti-clockwise circles. She watched with amazement as Charlie shrunk before her eyes. When the shrinking was done, he was the cutest little mini-Blackthorn bonsai ever. Jasmine couldn't wait to take her bonsai tree back to her dorm. She knew just where she would put him.
