Simon knew kind of how they worked but how could he explain it. He paused, tried to form some ideas about the monitor and then raised his hand. "The monitor gives us some feedback of what the computer is doing when you work or play on it. It does it through the use of images and text?" he offered, really unsure. He then simplified his previous statement. "Basically it allows to see what we're doing on the computer." Man. Explaining a monitor was difficult and he was just extremely grateful that there was one attached to a computer.
