His blue eyes widened at the thought of wizards wearing robes over their muggle clothes. It did seem rather bizarre and it seemed to defeat the purpose of getting dressed for the muggle world. If you were going out in the muggle world and didn't want people to think that you were some weirdo then why wouldn't you conform to their society for once and wear regular clothes. Man. Some people were crazy. Simon nodded his head. "That's really strange. Some muggles do but coming from a muggle background, all the wizarding robes are really strange to me." Very strange. When he first walked into Madame Malkins, he felt as if he was in an old witch and wizard costume fitting shop for halloween or for a party.

So the girl had a lot of nicknames already? Perhaps she didn't need another one. He'd work on one later for her. Mhmm.. "Then I shall switch it up between Bay and CB!" he said with a grin. It'd be fun that way. He nodded thoughtfully at her comment. Oh yes, he was very close to the food. "Yes, I am very close to the food but its rather dark down in the dungeons," he explained. It was also kind of creepy but he didn't want to point that out too soon. He had to make an impression, you know? Mhmm. It was very important. "Being on the seventh floor sounds nice. You'd have marvelous views of the grounds. Plus you're closer to the Astronomy Tower," he added with a grin.

Coral nodded. "No, no. I think that's about right. A governess is kind of like a teacher, isn't it?" She vaguely remembered reading that somewhere. She shook her head a little. "I mean, it was at first? I didn't want to be here at all. But I kind of got into a fight with my parents sort of? Not really a fight.. I was just kind of really mad at them for things. And my tutor. But.." she shrugged. "I like it here a lot now. There's a lot of cool people here." Cue a well placed grin.

The young girl twirled some hair around her finger and kept her eyes on the boy, letting him know she was interested in whatever it was he was saying. Oh. More wizards in muggle culture things. Yes that. She nodded. "It's all very strange to me. Wizarding clothing in general is strange. I don't like it much." Growing up with it didn't help very much. Being trapped in it only made her distaste grow.

Not that she could really see anyone doing that or a way for people to do that. "I'm so jealous. Is it cold down there too? I gets cold up in the towers sometimes. But I think that might be because it's winter." Spring would probably be different. Heat rises after all. "The view is really nice, sure. But.. after a while you sort of get use to it and stop appreciating it. You know? It's still kind of nice I guess." And she had a reaaaaaally great roommate.
