Could've been anything? But hadn't she just said that it must've been a person?! Man. She was confusing. Were all girls this confusing!? Or was it just the Hogwarts kind? "Well if it could be anything, then I'm sticking with my theory!" Mhm. What else could've driven the centaurs away!? It couldn't have possibly been just the weather. There was definitely something fishy going on down in that forrest. "My theories more fun anyways." Not to mention more scary, but STILL. If it really was just a person this would've all been such a let down. He would've been all freaked out for nothing.

Here comes that smile of hers again. It was all cheeky and stuff. It was like she was laughing at him without actually laughing? Did that even make sense.... Maybe he should've gotten more sleep? "HEY! I could totally kill a fly... If I wanted to." Yeah. He could be tough! And intimidating!.... If he tried. "I only look like I'm not harmless b-because I don't want to harm you.... But you know, if you were a cold one, then I'd show my.. my... my harming face!" Yeah, harming face.

... Wait, whut?

Sophie rolled her eyes, shaking her head at the boy's protests. "I mean whatever's in the forest - whatever made the person run back here could be just about anything." Since they'd pretty well established that they were not dead, so the figure who had come running up to the school must have been a person, so... it all came down to what said person was running from. And what would be so frightening that they had to send up sparks on their trek back?

Soph didn't want to think about it right now.

She snorted at the boy's fly comment and pushed herself up to a seated position, her legs crossed under her. "Harming face, hm?" Now he was just being silly, and she caaaasually flicked her wand from its holster on her arm and gave it a smooth twirl in her hand. "If you're not so harmless... how would you feel about a friendly duel? Here and now? S'y'can show me just how not harmless you are?" She didn't expect him to say yes at all - she was still just pulling his leg a little. Hehe. HOW TOUGH ARE YA, GRYFFINDOR?
