HEY! She was laughing!? B-b-but scout's honor! SHE PROMISED! Angrily, the third year crossed his arms over his chest. He was done being all embarrassed. Now he was just mad. Wait a minute? Why was she STILL laughing.

Okay, okay. So it was actually kind of funny... But it wasn't THAT funny.

So why was she still laughing? The Gryffindor couldn't help it, while she was busy rolling around HE actually started laughing too. All signs of his previous anger were wiped right off his face. "Now that I said it out loud... It kind of does sound ridiculous, huh?" See, he could be a good sport and laugh at himself too. It just took some time. And some contagious laughter, or in this case... Outrageous(?) laughter because it still wasn't quite AS funny as the girl made it out to be.

That's a hoot? Huh? Her laughter ended so suddenly, it kind of took Zander by surprised. He had stopped moments ago himself. But still. And... What? Scared. PFT. No. He was NOT scared. He is a big strong Gryffindor ~~man~~ boy. Scared. Pft. Nah. He was totally prepared to take on the Cold One. Okay maybe a little scared. BUT ONLY A LITTLE!!

"I guess I just heard the running and it took my by surprise?" He didn't spend all his time scouting out for Cold Ones. He had homework to do sometimes too! "Just with that thing in the forrest" the one with the weird lightning stuff during the library meetings? Would she know what he was talking about? "It was totally a possibility." Yeah. "And I wasn't scared... Just you know... You caught me by surprise!" That's all. That's totally what happened. Mhm. Yeah. Totally.
