But his voice sounded desperate. Almost pleading. Anything to keep her talking and to keep him from spilling the beans. AH. The sweating was coming back, but this time it wasn't because he was thinking about a certain professor, it was because of the conscious. DARN YOU, CONSCIENCE (part two). But before he could start tugging at his collar again, Lux starting speaking once more. Cucumber sandwiches? Did he like them? That was random... "Well I've never had them before... But I guess I'd probably like them!" Because any food was good food. Except veggies. "Wait... Are cucumbers veggies or fruit?" Because that would be the deciding factor.

You know, all this talk about cucumbers was talking his mind off of-- LUX WHY'D YOU GOTTA BRING IT BACK TO BENTLEY AGAIN!? Like him back?! NO WAY. Bentley just thought he was adorable and a dear. But in a child way. There's absolutely no way that a woman like her, would like a child like him. Sigh. Some love is just never meant to be. WHICH ALSO BROUGHT HIM TO HIS NEXT POINT, HIS CONSCIENCE THING. He couldn't stand to lie to Lux any longer. Especially after she was all nice to him. And that time they worked together in Arithmancy. And then when she encouraged him in the dueling arena. And after all the lessons. And NO HE COULD NOT BARE TO LIE TO HER ANYMORE.

"LUX, I'VE GOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" He blurted out. It was kind of all of the sudden. And really out of no where. And it was more like shouting it at her. More than he had intended. "I haven't been completely honest with you..." AND HE FELT LIKE SUCH A BAD PERSON!

Oooh, she got to tell him about being made an Honorary Lion. "Well, it was more that Bay and Tessa gave it to me last term. Tessa is one of my best friends." Zander wouldn't know Tessa, she was pretty sure since Tessa was so busy all the time and wasn't around as much. It made Lux sad, but she totally understood. "And I am also a Gryffinpuff with a Badger roar." Giving said roar, in demonstration, she then giggled; that was always a lot of fun. It was a shame that she didn't get to do it more often. Totally oblivious to how uncomfortable Zander looked, Lux eagerly delved into the topic of cucumber sandwiches. "I am not sure if it's a vegetable or not, but they are so good. You need to try one!" Maybe she could even MAKE it for him. And they could eat cucumber sandwiches together.

DIDN'T THAT SOUND LIKE A LOT OF FUN?!?!?!

Hehe. Now she was hungry again with all of this food talk. She really was a bottomless pit. Regretting that she had already finished off all the macaroni and cheese, she sighed sadly then about had a heart attack when Zander started shouting at her. "What are you talking about?" It had been so loud, her eardrums felt broken.
