It looked like he was going to have a white birthday this year - he just had a feeling this winter was going to last a LONG time. Maybe even into the spring...

As he was walking, he stumbled upon Hope, who was just kind of sitting there by herself. Normally Caleb wouldn't stop and talk to someone on a day as cold as this, but eh. He was bored and it wasn't very often he got to talk to Hope without CUTTY butting in. Quite literally.

"Hiya Hope! Cold day out, isn't it?" he asked, settling down next to her. Good thing this area didn't have much snow...
