"A two percent raise sounds great," he replied slowwwwwwly, cracking a small smile as he set down his mug, "but, is there any negotiation room on that?" Like, say, bump it up three percent? ~~Whaaaaaat, he wouldn't be a Slytherin if he didn't ask!~~
