"Well you guys I just came back from a cruise so I thought it was summer. Don't mind me...I am just in la la land right now.." she grinned and still sipped her coffee. "I mean look I didn't even have my coffee this morning." Jasmine winked back at Alex and said, "Yeah you know...he likes for me to think it is summer all year around. I sometimes get fooled."
"So what is this meeting for anyways?" she asked. Did anyone have any answers?
Good; she wasn't the only one who was going to suffer through the so-so coffee on this flavor. She smiled when Jasmine poured herself a cup.
Ah well that explained it. "A cruise? You sure you only in la la land because you think you're still on vacation? Or is it some thing to do with that mystery man you were dancing with?" Hmm, hmm? "So what's his name?"
Meeting? Huh what? "We have a meeting? Don't we need to wait for our department head for that?" she glanced towards Katelynn's door worriedly. "You don't suppose she got locked inside there, do you?" Ronnie gave a nod to what she next said, and glanced around them, sipping her coffee. There really weren't many people here. Had many quit, or was everyone late? She looked at her watch. It still was a bit early, who knew. People could show up just a few minutes late...she hoped. Oh good! Ronnie DID remember her. Beaming when the young colleague said she was ready, she nodded. "Always. Work is safe, despite its irritating moments. It's comfort." It didn't talk back or complain about you.
