He grinned when he was on the topic of girls. It seemed Dylan was uncomfortable but he would get over it soon enough. "I mean once you guys get to know each other and have your own little dates first. You will obviously need things to talk about." he winked and chuckled. Girls love it when you had things to talk about. They don't like being put into awkward situations. That's a fact. Now onto guitars. "Hmm I have a Fender for acoustic versions." he said holding out his guitar. "I do not do electric guitars though truth be told." he grinned sheepishly.
Dylan nodded in agreement.
"They really would!" he said.
"Maybe I'll just open up my own ice cream store in the Muggle world, show them our awesome flavors." he wondered aloud with a grin. Why not? He had always thought it'd be fun to work at an ice cream shop or sweets shop.
A gift? Hmmmmm.
"Well," Dylan began, looking to the ceiling as he thought.
"I think I would write her a song. She seemed to be really interested in my writing." he finally said after a while. The gift of a song...or just the gift of music in general, made Dylan happy inside to think about. That was the best gift anyone could get in his opinion!
"But maybe also a necklace too." he added. Because who knows. Girls like jewelery, right? Yeah, he was pretty sure they did...
The third year nodded.
"Right, right yeah. I gotcha. I'll just start hanging out with her more." he said. But the thought made his stomach do crazy flips. Why, though? He hadn't really felt that way talking to her when they had met or anything. Why now? Was he sick? Maybe it was all that ice cream he had eaten...he was unsure though. Ugh. Girls hurt his poor head and tummy. Poor Dylan. But now Kace was on the subject of guitar, which Dylan was relieved about. Talking about going on dates with Beverly made him feel all...woozy! He gave a nod.
"Oh, cool! I got you." he said.
"I dig both, really. I love the sound of them a lot. Do you like more acoustic, soft sounding music or something?" he asked curiously.
