It was probably all this pink frilly stuff. It was making him all itchy and uncomfortable again. Anyways....
The Gryffindor picked up a pink crayon- because that's as much spirit as he was feeling this time around- and started doodling a little. See the only problem was that he didn't really know Lex. Unlike the Hufflepuff he made the first card for, he didn't really know what to draw for the Prefect. And he wasn't even sure if she liked hearts and pink and snapping. It made him uncomfortable. But did it make her uncomfortable? She didn't really look all too happy from where he was sitting... Maybe she wasn't into this holiday either?
With a shrug, the boy started writing in his loopy handwriting.
He looked over at the card and sighed. Well this was lame. He had done so well with his other card that this one felt like a let down. Siiiiigggghhh. It was definitely missing something.
Ok. Was that a lame joke? He had always wanted to say that... But it never felt right.
But it still felt like it was lacking. Jeez. What else would it take. A unicorn maybe? Zander drew his absolute best unicorn on the front of the card... It kind of looked like a wonky horse.... on three legs?... With a funky head?... But it was the best one he could muster considering he only really saw the unicorn for a few minutes before it ran off. Hopefully the Prefect wouldn't mind. Getting up and out of his chair, he went to go and deliver the card. "Hi, Lex, this is for you."
If her count was right, she only needed to do one more card and she'd be done with this and back at her table eating cookies, yes? Yes. The only problem now was finding a Gemini--or she could give it to another random person. Did it really matter in the end? Cards being passed out was the important part.
Lex spun on her heel, ready to make her way to the other side of the room when she ran right into one of her little lions. Before she could ask if he was lost, he was offering her a card. Oh right. They were still doing that run around thing. Well she couldn't just leave him standing there with the card--no actually she could and in most cases she WOULD but this was one of
hers despite her not wearing her Prefect Badge anymore and he was an ickle.
"Gee thanks--" The smile she'd offered threatened to fall when she saw all the
pink. Ew. The smile didn't leave though because she could be more professional and grateful than that.
"Neat card...interesting looking donkey..." GRIN.
Most. Encouraging Prefect. EVER.
"Wish you'd been a Gemini.. You could'a put me out of my misery already." But alas he was a Capricorn. Didn't they already have enough of those?

I think my instructions were to use this list and find someone in the class that had the Astrology sign that matched. Looking at Mr. Branxton's sign and your list it clearly isn't on there. I know Mr. Branxton is a very nice boy and attractive for you, but please give out the Valentine's to your compatible signs first. At the end of class you are very welcome to use my extra paper for your boyfriend or crush." Giving the girl another encouraging, beaming smile she picked up a cookie. "Here have another cookie, they are just scrumptious."
Eye twitch.
EYE TWITCH.
NO.
Nononononononononono. This was HIS fault wasn't it? Because of the winking? SEE WHAT YOU DID BRANXTON???
"He's not my boyfriend. I don't have a boyfriend. I don't want a boyfriend and I don't believe in crushes." NO.
Keep the extra paper, keep the cookies. Lex wanted none of it. Jeez, who knew giving out a random card would be this much trouble?
She'd just...be sure she gave the last one to a damn Gemini to save herself a repeat of this.
Merlin.
