The blonde scanned the room some more, her ocean blue eyes stopped on one person that she had met not to long ago. He liked candy and he was very nice to her and her first Slytherin friend. She thought they were friends. Can you call someone you just met a friend already? Emmylou nodded to herself and smiled. She was going to call him her friend because she loved making friends. Friends!

Emmylou looked around in her bag and found a bag of jellybeans. This card was going to be perfection! She hoped that Simon would like it but she didn't know what she wanted to say! Boo.

Emmylou got some crayons and a piece of parchment paper. The third year started off by folding the paper in half to make it a normal looking card. She then took out some different shades of purple crayons, some light, medium and dark. She drew some roses and tulips with a green stem. She then added in some hearts. Emmylou took out a yellow crayon and drew a big sun with a happy face on it.

What else could she add to the card? She wanted it to look awesome! It was time to put her thinking cap one she thought as she pretended to put an invisible hat on her head.
