He didn't want to lose any house points or anything. "Yeah, you're right," he replied, taking a seat on the bottom of the stairs. He then chuckled at what she next said. "Well, yeah that would be a waste. And you'd probably get detention or something, or lost house points...and no problem." he gave a small nod. Or both detention and point losses. Point was, it was a good thing they hadn't thrown any candy at the headmistress. Heh. He then shrugged at her idea. "I dunno, but I'm kinda worried for them. The headmistress did look pretty concerned, and they ought to tell us later if something serious is happening." he said slowly, looking up at the girl thoughtfully. Emmylou looked around the hall and then turned her attention back on Dylan. She ate a jellybean here and there and smiled. Though she wasn't one to get angry or ticked off but the way the Headmistress spoke to them made her a tiny bit mad. She knew that there wasn't a reason for the headmistress to speak to them that way. Asking people to do things nicely will make kids her age actually do things and get them done.
The third year followed Dylan and sat down next to him. Her brows raised slightly. She wasn't used to hearing that she was right. Actually she had never heard that she was right. "I'm right?" At least she didn't think she had. She had to question it, she didn't want to hear him say it again but she just wanted to make sure she had heard his words correctly. Emmylou shrugged at him and ate another jellybean. This seemed like an endless bag of jellybeans, she wasn't complaining though. She wanted to know where to get an endless bag of candy from. "Maybe somethings out there?" She didn't know what was going on. Maybe centaurs weren't normally up at the castle. She wouldn't know.
