"I wish I'd had someone to stop me and ask if it was what I really wanted..." She sighed then, and put the last little bit of the cupcake in her mouth and fell quiet to finish it. "I worked real hard for Coulson to be my boyfriend you know? He didn't want to be, but I worked real hard and convinced him I was worth it..." Not that she was worth it now. Not that she'd actually ever been worth it. He'd had the right idea in the first place.
It wouldn't matter once she was gone though. She could pretend she was someone else. Forget everything from here. As much as it stung.
She noticed the new expression, but said nothing about it. "Yeah. They can't answer back and I don't seem to get as annoyed with them as I do the usual people I encounter." Actually..he was one of the few she hadn't had to contain an insult about. "M'not sure yet. I think I might look into it a bit more. Just do my healer studies and then look at it after or something... I have no idea." ...
Oh. Ouch. She messed up big time, didn't she? Cosgrach wanted to point out that Coulson probably never wanted her, then, seeing as forced relationships barely worked out, but he knew better than that. He wished there was some way for him to find Coulson, though, and talk to him or something, because it hurt his heart to see Elodie this hurt. "Boys aren't worth it, Elodie," he said in the end in an effort to make her feel better, "Coulson's probably moved on to some other girl pretty quickly. So you stop mourning over that now." Yeah? This came from a male too, mind ya. Hear this advice!
Ooooh... Cosgrach had never considered it in this light. "But they cry? And you can't know what they are crying about?" Or did everyone else but him posses some talent to know what was wrong with a baby? Hmm... he needed to ask... Soheir, about it. "Well, I hope you decide the best for you, girl." ANd not forget her old p'fessor here. |
