Frowning, Lux wiped the fog away so that she could get a better view as to what was going on outside. It was hard to see, but she could make out Bay and Mr. Kitridge as they approached the Forbidden Forest. And was that Professor Fuller, Jasmine, and the Head Girl following behind them?
It was nice to see that there were more people assembled now, but that didn't help her feel any less worried. She wanted to go down there even though she knew that Bay wouldn't want her to; that was the only thing that still kept her here. No offence to Mr. Kitridge and Professor Glendower, but she didn't care about this book club meeting anymore. There were more important things going on now. Like her boyfriend going into the forest where creatures like ACROMANTULAS and WEREWOLVES lived. Not to forget that it was FREEZING out there.
Kace was seeing Lux fidget in the book club. He scooted over and hugged her. He felt she needed hugs. "
Bay will be okay, he is a tough dude. Don't worry about it.." He smiled and still consoled her. If she needed to cry on his shoulders, she could. He wouldn't mind.
