Jasmine, Tessa and Cris were talking when Cris decided to join a line of skaters. Jasmine turned to Tessa and shrugged her shoulders as if to say "If you can't beat em, join em". She skated out and managed to catch on at the end of the line.

Jasmine continued to follow Cris as they skated around the lake. When he pulled up to talk to the younger Ravenclaw boy, Jasmine did too. When the boy waved at her, Jasmine smiled. When he said that they could skate together, she smiled even more. "Thank you. We would love to skate with you." Clearly the boy seemed to be less afraid of the scary sixth years. Jasmine was glad of that.
