| Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space. Tempting as it was to roll his eyes, Adam refrained, containing his feelings of annoyance at Saxon for calling him... well, 'he' and pointing. He had a name, and he was pretty sure people should know it by now. But instead, he did what he told Corbin to do, to combat his anger: he took three deep, steady breaths, thought of the job at hand, and kept a smile offered to the room at general. The younger woman did get a nod, though, as she expanded on his thoughts - her ideas were great, that couldn't be denied.
With a grin at Victoria, Adam leant back in his chair slightly, his notebook perched on his knee, as he jotted down the ideas being throw about. He liked the thought on Mascots, and knew that his children would, too. "Mascot's sound interesting! They could maybe even do some games with the children, if the adults want to join in with something else." You know, as long as the mascot had undergone all the necessary working with children stuff needed, that could be put into place, maybe? Merchandise sounded good, too - he was pretty sure teams would be up for donating some stuff: donations in themselves were publicity and advertising for a team, so usually they were pretty good to go with it.
"Ah, they'll definitely be there. Anything to get them excited about the sport, and Lori's down." Adam nodded with a smile at Mariel, thinking it'd be good to get the kids to meet some of his colleagues, and when better? The age old argument over which was better, football or Quidditch was causing sides to be chosen, and he hoped this would also show them that he had an appreciation of the sport, enjoyed it even - but would never be seen playing it, and would always prefer football.
Once again, his eyes darted to his boss as she spoke to him, and he nodded, before flicking through his files. "I think we've got a lot that could be of great use - and I think once the word gets out about the event, we may get more, in terms of people thinking of new merchandise and things. Inventors love this kind of buzz to harness in on a market." And the invisible broom, and transportation! Fantastic. Adam could definitely get his dad's help on some of this, too - even retired, the broom manufacturer had great advice to offer his son. He nodded a bit, consulting the file on the invisible broom. "I think I've got one more test to run on it, and then I'll need to discuss regulations with Transportation. If it's successful, I think this could be the perfect place to market it."
