Once she'd settled into the seat and leant into her hand, she did reach for a cupcake. But only after he'd pointed out for her to take one. She always had time for cupcakes. Maybe. "Thanks 'fessor.. What's the occasion?" There was usually an occasion for someone to provide you with cupcakes unless that person was Cat. And Cat usually brought her cupcakes and spaghetti or cupcakes and hugs. There was always a duo with her best friend; she knew her that well.

And there it was...

She'd gone ahead and put her foot in it. Hadn't she yet learnt that just nodding along and saying you were fine meant you'd never have to answer any questions? Clearly not. Els sat quiet whilst she finished off the bite of cupcake in her mouth, and once she had that swallowed... she shrugged. "Boy drama, Professor. Boy drama, worrying about the future, and expecting to fall short of everybody's expectations of me. Other than that... I'm fine."

He wasn't going to question boy drama, right? Men didn't do that, did they?
