In the meanwhile, he selected a blue beanbag and made himself comfortable. Leo hadn’t read many pages in the prophet before the first student arrived. Looking up he beamed sunnily. "Good morning Adi. I’m quite well. How are you?" Quote:

I’m glad you like my choice of book." Quote:

She had never met that man before so introductions were a must. After Kace a girl walked in that resembled Angel to the tee so when she introduced herself as AJ Leo was momentarily thrown off guard. Plastering on a beam hastily he said. "It’s a pleasure to meet you AJ. I met your sister Angel earlier in the year." Quote:

Leo questioned the third year badger girl that had just walked in. Quote:

Hello Mr. Kitridge! I' m Lucy Petersfield. It's my first year at Hogwarts! "
Then she took a free seat and she smiled at her classmates.. Next up to arrive was a first year by her appearance. Flashing the girl as broad smile Leo said "Pleasure to meet you Lucy and welcome to Hogwarts!" Quote:

"Since both meetings are involving creatures, you and Professor Thompson shoulda collaborated. I hate choosing." But as she said it, she plopped onto a purple beanbag chair right by her Head of House, clearly having made her choice, and gave Kitridge a bigger smile. "But this is obviously the place to be." See? Loyal as could be. Next person to arrive was Sophie Brown, the proud gobstones enthusiast who had played a big part in getting the bronze medal in the gobstones cup to Ravenclaw. "Good morning Sophie," Leo greeted with a warm smile. Giving her a wink he said. "We had our reasons for not collaborating today. We might do so in the future though." Leo explained with a glance over at the creature playmates meeting nearby. Quote:

The brunette put on her beaming smile and turned to the group assembled for the book club. "Help yourself to some snacks!" She grabbed a little club sandwich and cup of hot chocolate for herself, then plopped right down in the purple bean bag chair next to Leo. Then she pulled out her copy of Fantastic Beasts from her tote bag and set it on her lap. "Almost ready to get started?" She was so looking forward to this! When Nessa arrived with refreshments and food Leo groaned inwardly. He had made an exception from his rule about food and drink because the sweet history of magic professor had insisted. "Hello Professor Glendowner," Leo greeted with a sunny smile as she grabbed the bean bag next to his. "Yes, I was just about to kick things off."
Clearing his throat to attract attention he said with a glance around at the assembled students. "Welcome everyone to this term book club meeting and a special welcome to Professor Glendower who has graciously agreed to help me with this day’s meeting." Picking up the CoMC book he held it up. "Today's topic of discussion is 'Fantastic Beast’s and where to find them' by Newt Scamander. A book you all rely on to give you information big and small about creatures you encounter or want to learn more about during your schooling here at Hogwarts. Do you guys all like the book? Think its useful in your CoMC studies or do you dislike it if so why?" Quote:

Leo was waiting for responses from the student's when the whole room was lit up like a lighthouse and a glance over at the windows showed shooting sparks overhead. Was someone in trouble? Looking around first at Nessa and then at the student's he asked "Did anyone else see the sparks in the sky outside?"
