EEEEP okay so now the water was boiling! And the macaroni shells were starting to float up. That meant that they were about ready... Hopefully... Again Zander lifted up the pot, turned down the heat, and ran to drain the water. Hopefully this batch would turn out just as yummy as the first. Once the water was all drained out Zander took out a single shell. Tester peice? Mhmmm, it felt soft enough...
Wasn't there a trick about throwing the noodles at a surface or something...? Eh. Nah. It probably didn't even work anyways. Last time Zander tried to throw food... It ended up all in his hair. So yeah, not going for that again. This kitchen was cursed. Okay, so back to the macaroni shells!
The third year poured in a tiny bit of milk, just enough to go around the bottom of the pot. Perfect! Now for the cheese blocks! One... Two... Three... How many had he put in the first one? Six? Yeah. That sounded like a good number. After plopping all six cheese blocks in, Zander waited for them to get all melty and gooey. MHM cheese is the best. Then once they started softening up, he promptly began to stir the mixture around a little bit.
Then he turned off the heat and TADAAAAH! Macaroni part 2, SUCCESS! His parents would be so proud! And so would Hadley. Hopefully... Grabbing a nice sized container he poured the macaroni in, making sure to stick a label on top saying "2". This way he'd be able to differentiate between the two foods. He did a couple quick cleaning spells to clean up his surroundings and then he hurried off to go find his food victim tester. Ah, this was actually kind of fun!
