A little muffled, sure, but he had managed to speak so that's what counts, right? "Yeah... it.. it sure can get boring in such a huge castle sometimes," Cabin fever for sure. "How... How have you been, Lux?" They hadn't really spoken too much since the Arithmancy lesson and most of that was formal classwork stuff. Actually, come to think of it... They never really had a chance to chat, considering the first time was in between throwing spells at dummies.

And with that he smudged around the snow doodle even more... You know... For extra measure. Just a safety precaution... Ahem. In case....

Was it just her, or did Zander feel awkward? Smiling weakly (even though she was sure he missed it with her scarf in the way), Lux watched as he continued to blot out the evidence. Hmmm, interesting. "So who is the lucky girl?" For surely it WAS a girl and not the Herbology Professor. Of course Bentley was pretty and a very nice woman, but there were lots of girls their age that Zander would have a shot with. The kid was absolutely adorable!

Picking up another stick that was laying nearby, she began making her own doodles in the snow. It was rather fun, and was a way to occupy her time and distract herself from the cold. "I get so very bored sometimes. I've been great though! Besides turning into an ice cube, I've been having a lot of fun this term. What about you? Have you gotten up to anything exciting?" They hadn't really had much of a chance to hang out together yet, and Lux was hoping to change that.
