Well that hadn't been the response she was hoping for. Hardly surprising. She should have known better.
"Well that's something at least..." but she wasn't about to ask about the gnome. Why the girl had one down her shirt was beyond her. What did have staring though, was Zahra's enthusiasm toward odd jobs. Really? She wanted to do that? With everything going on, she figured this might be useful.
"I'm in the process of relocating my office, once I find a nice enough space, so you can help me move and unpack if you like. That aside, I know the entrance hall needs regular sweeping, it's been a right mess with this winter, what with everyone tracking in slush all the time." It was one of those regularly-requiring-maintenance areas. So she was welcome to that too.
