Maddie? Humans had the strangest names for their off-spring but the centaur kept that to himself. What others chose to name their children was not his business nor his place to judge and the centaur simply nodded.
"Would you prefer I call you that?" She must have if she suggested it. Did it even matter? This would not help him in finding his colony.
The centaur cast another glance in the direction of the forest. It reminded him of his dilemma.
"Do you know of a safe place I may go to escape the cold until I find my colony?" Surely she knew this much.
