Jasmine looked around dramatically, to determine where the roaring sound was coming from. When she spotted the dragon, she dropped her book and gave her best muggle horror movie "I've just seen a monster" face. She sat frozen in terror for a moment and then began to slowly back away from the dragon.

Jasmine had clearly seen one too many of those late night horror movies. She knew that the next thing that always happened to the girl in the movie was that she tripped and fell down. After that, whatever monster/creature/killer was the movie's bad guy usually finished her off. So keeping her horrified look, Jasmine pretended to trip on something and fall down.

Jasmine managed to get up when she was saved by her hero. A boy (Cris) volunteered to protect her. "Oh thank you kind hero", she said using her damsel in distress voice. "You are ever so brave!" And then the dragon breathed fire in their direction, but the boy managed to stop the fire and save the day, for now.

When her moment of acute fear had lessened, Jasmine wondered how the boy was able to slow down a dragon. She tried to decide whether she should run around all panicked-like or not. Screaming was always good.
