"I actually transferred from Beauxbatons but my parents wanted me to attend Hogswarts just like they did."

Just as Zander began to chew on a Twizzler, he saw all the other candy that Emmylou was taking out of her bag. WOAH. Maybe Zander's chocolate frog problem wasn't actually as big of a problem as he thought. His mouth opened wide in awe and he began to chuckle a bit at the sight. "Woah, erm, you must really have a sweet tooth, huh?" He smiled nervously. He totally didn't mean it in a demeaning way though. He had a sweet tooth too. "I do too though," he added. "... Don't tell anyone... But I, um, I- keep a stash of chocolate frogs under my bed." And even though Peeves managed to destroy everything in his dorm room, he had yet to find the chocolate! So it must be a good hiding spot. Ha!

The third year listened carefully as the girl went on to explain more about her accent and stuff. Wait Beauxbatons? Wasn't that France, though? "So... You used to live in America... But then you went to France for school?" Huh? That didn't make any sense to the third year. Or did she still live in America and just go to Beauxbatons over the school year? Wouldn't she miss her family though!? "That's so cool that your parents went here though... I wish I had family who used to go here," it definitely would've made things so much easier. He would've known more about classes. Where to go study. What to do for fun. Basically family would've been really helpful. Especially since this school could be somewhat overwhelming.
