After grabbing herself a chicken and salad sandwich,an apple pie, and double-shot coffee to boot, Emily took her tray to the main seating area, trying her hardest to ignore the still ridiculous multi-coloured chairs. What was wrong with black? Or grey? Did Cresswell know how tacky these looked? Did he? In the end, she claimed a blue chair, it seemed - to her - to be the most responsible looking of the lot. So far work was pretty great. Tancred couldn't complain too much about going to an orientation meeting and getting to know the employees on his level. Plus his old pal Willy was even in the same division as him, which really was no surprise. Dragons were awesome. But dragons were not currently on the dragon commissioner's mind. Oh no. It was time to check out the food court in the Atrium. He had a rumbling stomach to satisfy.
But, Merlin, the cafeteria was colourful! Now what colour chair was he going to sit in? As if choosing his lunch hadn't been enough serious decision-making for the first day on the job.
With a grilled chicken wrap, a piece of cheese cake, and a cup of coffee on his tray, Tancred made his way through the seating area. Where was Willy? He didn't want to eat his lunch all alone. Fortunately there was a lone brunette that looked like she needed some company. "Excuse me, miss," the man said, pointing at the yellow chair at her table with his free hand. "Mind if I join you?"
