...WHAT?
Maddie was trying not to pout in peace, y'know? Except then that Penelope girl was coming to her defense which both puzzled and amused the small brunette. It was GOOD to know that her dorm mate had her back for reasons BUT she definitely hadn't anticipated such a response and NOW Kyroh AND Penelope were upset and saying angry things and THIS first year was wildly confused. Feelings were stupid, y'know? And Maddie didn't DO feelings OR comfort so she stayed quiet the entire time, her eyes WIDE and darting back and forth between the two.
When Kyroh announced he didn't even WANT to be a Ravenclaw and then Penelope left, the twelve year old let out a sigh and looked around for HELP. Someone help? Someone hug Kyroh and someone tell HER what SHE was supposed to do because she didn't know.

Maybe some of that happy music would help right about now.
