Yep, Kevin was getting a cold thanks to the drastic weather outside. His body ached as he was finally at the top floor of the castle and turned a corner towards the Astronomy office.
The reason why he was here? HIS HAT! the man had his hat for over a year now and this time he was DETERMINED to get it back! He quickly grabbed a tissue out of his pocket and sneezed.
The sight of the seating area made him stop in his track though. Did he walk the wrong way? Why were the walls pink ....and....the seats covered in glitter? He didn't know the Professor liked...that. Oh he was going to make fun of him now~
Walking over the narrow glitter-free path towards the door, Kevin knocked on it. This time only three times and stepped back. He then stood in a fighting stance and pointed his wand at the door.
He wasn't going to attack. Just a precaution in case the Professor petrified him AGAIN. It was becoming more and more difficult to conduct his research with the current weather and the astronomer had already missed two deadlines due to the cloud coverage. It was bad. His supervisors on the project were growing anxious and impatient without results and Airey's credibility was at stake. Which is why he had had to change up his research topic temporarily. Only he was still finding it difficult to come to any conclusions.
What was going on made no sense at all. Nothing scientific about it.
He was neck deep in papers on his desk when he heard the knock at the door and figured it was about time he stood up to stretch his legs, so he walked over to the door and opened it.
"Ah, Mr. Hirase. Come to schedule a rematch or are you here to file a complaint about how the house elves treated you after I dropped you off in the kitchens?"
